Borat II

So I've spent like an hour trying to find a video of the Frat scene all over the net but to no avail. Fox has claimed copyright on all video's posted on the web. Kudos to them.
Sorry guys, guess you'll just have to go see the movie.

Borat

On the weekend on Channel 10, 'Borat' was on. Although I love this movie in all its vulgarity, it showed the real views of many people. One example is the frat members. The men say offensive things about Jews, African American's and women.

I was not offended that the movie showed what they said. It's a movie! It was released with humourous intent. However, what did annoyed me was that the frat brothers sued 'Borat' the movie for the things that they had said themselves.

The Frat members claimed that the film makers had forced them to drink so that they would say these things.

Although, research into the frat members (on myspace, rock on hardcore journalists) shows that they drink regardless of if they were 'being forced' or not.

The men tried to get their scene removed from the DVD release. They lost the court case. Happy Days. =]. In my opinion if they didn't want people to hear what they said, they shouldn't have said it. "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." - Mum's all over the world

Regardless of this circumstance, the film showed the views and values which these men hold. 'Borat' is a real eye opener to the intolerence in the world within a persons mind. The movie was released in 2006, which means we still have people with these kinds of views in this day and age from Generation Y.
This is not actually that un-common, so i'm not really that suprised about people still having these views. However, i'm still kinda stumped as why.

Ah well, such is life. We're not meant to understand everyone, if anyone.
I'll try and find the 'Frat Boys' on youtube and upload it later, but my search is not so successful so far.

Taa, Bridget.
